日本舞踊西川流運営役員・評議員
西川 鯉Koi Nishikawa
京都市生まれ
六才より西川鯉に師事する。
ノートルダム女学院を経て、慶応義塾大学を卒業。
1981年「第1回 西川鯉の会」を開催し 京都市新人芸術家選奨を受賞。
その後毎年リサイタルを開き、バレエ・シンセサイザー・いけ花・書・茶の湯など、さまざまな分野との競演を試み、幅広く一般に親しまれる日本舞踊を目指して努力している。
ドイツ・アメリカなどの海外公演にも積極的で、1999年にはフランス公演を、2011年にはボストン公演を成功させた。
1996年度（下半期）「邦舞三人会」の演技賞受賞。
2000年より東寺、清水寺、青蓮院、六波羅蜜寺、南禅寺、南禅院、鞍馬寺、下鴨神社、八坂神社等で舞を奉納。
「明日をになう新進舞踊・邦楽鑑賞会」「東西名流舞踊鑑賞会」（国立文楽劇場）「NHK 芸能花舞台」や各種舞踊会に出演。
京都新聞文化センター日本舞踊講座担当、大阪NHK文化センター梅田教室日本舞踊講座担当。
認定特定非営利活動法人、京都文化企画室理事長。
2011年「平成23年度文化庁芸術祭優秀賞」受賞。
2017年「平成29年度文化庁芸術祭優秀賞」受賞。

She was born in Kyoto. Started Japanese Dance at the age of six.She graduated the Notre Dame High School and Keio University.
In 1981 she organized the first Nishikawa Mitsu no kai. She received the Award of Kyotoーcity fresh man in art.
She holds her recital every year and she organizes the collaboration with ballet, flower arrangement, synthesizer,tea ceremony and calligraphy.
She enjoys her dance with other fields’ collaboration. She is quite active to show her dance abroad. She dedicates the dance in several famous temples in Kyoto.
Also she holds the educational programs for youth. She organizes several classes in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo.
