日本舞踊西川流運営役員・評議員
西川 鯉Koi Nishikawa
6歳6月6日より初代西川鯉師に師事する。
15歳で西川流苗字内となる。
1981年「第一回西川充の会」を開催して京都市新人芸術家選奨を受賞。
その後リサイタルを開催し、バレエ、シンセサイザー、生け花、書、茶道等様々な分野との競演を試み、幅広く更に親しまれる日本舞踊を目指して努力している。
ドイツ、アメリカ等の海外公演にも積極的で、1999年にはパリ、2011年にはボストン公演を成功させた。
2011年、2017年に文化庁芸術祭優秀賞受賞。
2020年京都南座で、2021年東京国立劇場で二代目西川鯉を襲名。

NHK梅田文化センター・京都新聞文化センター日本舞踊講座担当。
認定NPO法人京都文化企画室理事長。

She was born in Kyoto. Started Japanese Dance at the age of six.She graduated the Notre Dame High School and Keio University.
In 1981 she organized the first Nishikawa Mitsu no kai. She received the Award of Kyotoーcity fresh man in art.
She holds her recital every year and she organizes the collaboration with ballet, flower arrangement, synthesizer,tea ceremony and calligraphy.
She enjoys her dance with other fields’ collaboration. She is quite active to show her dance abroad. She dedicates the dance in several famous temples in Kyoto.
Also she holds the educational programs for youth. She organizes several classes in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo.
